[BHS etree] ADMIN: State Superintendent coming to BHS

On Wednesday Sept. 30 at 10:30 in the school library, California State Superintendent of Schools Jack O'Connell will be at Berkeley High to announce the collaboration of five California schools with PG&E to create new California Partnership Academies, and the launching of a new science and engineering themed small school at Berkeley High. This new academy will become Berkeley High's newest small learning community. Leadership students will host and introduce our guests.

In addition, there will be an open community meeting to help craft a vision for this new small school. Students, parents and community members are invited to share their ideas, creativity, and energy on Tuesday, October 6 from 7:00-9:00 in the Library.
