Ms. Price and Ms. Sandberg will be coming to senior classrooms the week of Sept. 14-16 to review the college process.
 
Senior Profiles are due in the College office D221 by September 18 for students who are applying Regular Decision. Please see Ms. Price or Ms. Sandberg if you have questions. If you have not picked up the Senior Profile, please stop by the college center and pick one up.

 
National Merit Semi-Finalist applications are due Tuesday, September 15. Please turn in your information to Ms. Price or Ms. Sandberg in D221. 
 
We have SAT and ACT fee waivers for low income students. Please come to D221 before 8:30 a.m., at lunch time, or after school. See Ms. Sandberg or Ms.Price.

 
Registration for the Oct. 24 SAT has been extended until 9/25. If you have not registered and would like to take the test please registered at www.Collegeboard.com by 9/25.

If you do not have online access, you can pick up a list of the SAT and ACT tests dates in the college Center. We also have registration packets and study booklets for both tests in D221. 
 
California State Universities -- San Jose State will not accept ACT/SAT taken after the November test date. San Jose State will be impacted for the 2010-2011 academic year and will close their admission application period on Nov. 30.

 
Unofficial Transcripts -- Seniors please request unofficial transcripts from your guidance counselor if you need a copy before we begin the CSU/UC application workshops in October. We will post the workshops date in the next bulletin.

First Annual Historically Black College Recruitment Fair -- Thursday, September 17, 2009. The fair is being held at the Oakland Unified School District Administration building, 4th Floor, 1025 2nd Avenue, Oakland, CA from 3:00 pm to 8p.m.
 
College Information Day for 6th-12th grade students and parents is Saturday, October 17,2009 in Wheeler Hall at UC Berkeley, 8:30 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. For more info: (510) 238-9450. You can pre-register online at: www.eastbayconsortium.org.

Are you low income? Will you be the first to go to college in your family. If so please come to the University of California, Berkeley incentive award informational meeting, September 22, 2009, after school in Conference Room B.
