Greetings BHS Family,
 
As some of you know, we are still looking for candidates to represent
Berkeley High School in the upcoming whole school election.  Candidates in
this election will be representing the entire school in BHS Leadership so if
you are interested please come by D-148 for more information.  
 
BHS Leadership offers a learn as you work type of leadership experience.
Because we are not a class, there is a short amount of time to get a lot of
things accomplished for the entire students body.  The positions run the
spectrum from very activity-based leadership to policy-orientated
leadership.  There is a place for all types of future leaders and future
leaders assistants.  

Even though it is not a regular class, you still earn class credits.  In a
sense, it's the best of both worlds, not a class, but receive class credits,
a lot of responsibility, but paced at your speed, very serious, but very
social, sometimes stressful, but more times fun, and most importantly, a lot
of great relationships made and fostered.
