[BHS etree] ADMIN: Math placement tests for Honors Algebra 2 and Math Analysis

The Honors Testing Dates for placement into Honors Algebra 2 and
Honors Math Analysis for next year are:

Thursday, April 16 (3:30-5:30)
Friday, April 17 (3:30-5:30)
Monday, April 20 (3:30-5:30)

There will be a sign-up sheet posted on the door of the Math Office
(H113) a few weeks prior to the testing dates for current BHS
students to ensure a placement test.  Students who are not currently
enrolled at BHS must email Amy Burke, co-leader of the Math
Department at amy_burke at berkeley.k12.ca.us.

Who this test is for (and not for):

- Students transferring in to Berkeley High from out-of-district who
would like to take an Honors section of Algebra 2 or Math Analysis
next year must take a placement test and should email Ms. Burke.  

- Current Honors Geometry students with an A or B DO NOT need to
take the placement test and current Honors Algebra 2 students with
an A or B do not need to take these tests.

- These tests are not for incoming freshmen who are currently taking
Algebra I in middle school.  That will take place late May or early
June.  As soon as the date is set we will post on the etree.
