The BSEP Committee has two meetings scheduled.

The first is a joint meeting with the SGC on Tuesday, March 24. The second is on Tuesday, March 31. These are both public meetings and all are invited to attend.

The BHS BSEP Committee is required to hold two joint meetings with the BHS School Governance Council (SGC) each school year. The BSEP-SGC bylaws read, in part,

The BHS BSEP Committee will have at least two joint meetings with the School Governance Council …(the first) to review the Berkeley High Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for the current year, and … the (second) when the School Governance Council is considering adopting the budget proposed by the BSEP Site Committee.  Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed to insure collaborative planning.  This meeting will be the first joint meeting between the two committees this school year. Refer to the forthcoming SGC Meeting agenda for the Joint Meeting Agenda.

4:45  Discussion - Which proposals to fund in the F/Y 2010 BSEP budget and amounts to allocate to each proposal.

6:30  Action Item - Vote on final budget for 2010 BSEP site discretionary funds.

8:30  Adjourn

The next meeting will be a joint meeting between the BHS BSEP committee and the BHS School Governance Council where the BSEP committee will present the 2010 site budget to the SGC for approval. The meeting date will be announced when it is set.
