BUSD STUDENTS

Next Steps for registration and scheduling for students attending BUSD middle schools:

The dates for registration and scheduling for families from BUSD middle schools are fast approaching. We would like to suggest the following guidelines to make the registration and scheduling process smoother for all people involved.

Representatives from Berkeley High School will visit each of the three BUSD middle schools over the next several weeks to conduct the scheduling process. This process includes a daytime student assembly where current BHS students will discuss their experiences with middle school students. Later that evening, administrators and counselors will give a brief presentation in both English and Spanish which will review the program choices at BHS. During that same week, high school counselors will come to the middle schools to guide students through the course request and program selection process. It is important to note that whether you are on-line scheduling in January or February your student will enter the first lottery in March for small schools or learning communities at the same time as everyone else.
