As many of you may already know, the Berkeley Federation of Teachers
(BFT) contract ends at the end of this fiscal year in June.  For those
of you who would like to stay in the loop with regard to the on-going
negotiations, there are two sources of information you can tap into.


For information updates from the BFT, please email bft4tchr at lmi.net
and write "Please add me to the email updates" in the subject box.   

For negotiations information from the Berkeley Unified School
District, you can visit http://www.berkeley.k12.ca.us/  or contact the
BUSD's public information officer, Mark Coplan, at
mark_coplan at berkeley.k12.ca.us.  These negotiations are always
important for all of us, as well as for the teachers, and it's always
good to stay well informed.
