5:00    1. Members and alternates sign in

        2. Establish quorum: 8 voting members including 2 staff, 2
students and 2 parents

        3. Introductions

        4. Approval of minutes from last meeting

        5. Approval of Agenda-Additions/Changes

5:05     Public Comment

5:10     2nd Presentation of a Program Evaluation using a Rubric for
meeting WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) goals.

5:50     Discussion of Criteria for acceptable Proposals for inclusion
in the 2008-9 Budget

         (The following excerpts are from the text of Measure A)

The BSEP revenues "are to be used to improve the educational
achievement of Berkeley's public school students by providing quality
educational programs."

Discretionary Site Funds are to be used for "...Programs to enhance
student learning...for personnel, services and materials required to
deliver effective activities leading to improved student   
performance..." including but not limited to "...such programs as arts
and sciences instruction, academic tutoring and counseling, athletics
and student activities, and before and after school programs."

6:10     1. Vote on which programs to keep for consideration and which
to reject for consideration.

Decisions to be based upon adherence to criteria listed above and
feasibility of obtaining funding from alternate sources such as  BPEF
and BHSDG. These votes may be revisited at the next meeting.

2. Presentation of Measure A (BSEP) 2008 budget allocations for BHS

   Informal voting on remaining proposals.

NOTE:  Next meeting is scheduled for March 18 from 5:00-9:00+ PM.
