Get involved at Berkeley High.  The Development Group wants you. 
 
Recent studies have shown that in schools where parent involvement is
high, the benefits for students are encouraging. When parents are
involved in their children's schools and education, children have
higher grades and standardized test scores, improved behavior at home
and school, and better social skills and adaptation to school.
 
If you like to fund raise, write grants, review grant proposals, want
to get to know the faculty and staff at BHS, or want to be involved in
community building activities, then please consider joining the
Berkeley High School Development Group.  
 
Mark your calendar and come to a meeting to see how you might fit in.
We meet the first Monday of each month, from 7-9 PM in the College and
Career Center.  The dates for the remainder of the year are as
follows:
 
Feb. 4
March 3
April 7
May 6
June 2
 
We especially are looking for parents of 9th and 10th graders, from
all 4 small schools, AC and BIHS.  Please consider joining today.
