At the board meeting on October 24th, 2007 the Board discussed the
following items:

Informational Items	

3.1-I 2007 Web Access of Attendance and Grades The Board received a
report on the implementation of system that will allow parents and
students to access attendance and grade information on line. The goal
is to implement the program by the first quarter grading period in the
current school year at Berkeley High, and eventually in the middle
schools as well. **

3.2-I Berkeley High School Advisory Program The Board received a
report on the BHS Advisory Program. The purpose of the advisories is
to provide small group opportunities for students to connect with an
influential adult, in monitoring their progress at BHS and creating a
vision for their future. Berkeley High has been exploring the
possibility of creating the small group advisory program for three
years, and have included it in the WASC Accreditation Plan. **

All Board meetings are broadcast live on Berkeley Community Media
Cable Channel 33 and KPFB Radio 89.3, and re-broadcasted on channel 33
the following Thursday morning at 9AM and on Sunday October 28, 2007
at 2PM.
