Inventing the Future: Inspiring Young Scientists to Reach New Heights!
OCTOBER 20!
A series of inquiry-based, hands-on science workshops
for students K-12
Middle & High School Workshops: 9:00 - 4:00
Eye dissection workshop/Heart dissection workshop
Learn about how the eye and heart work up close and personal
Participate in an eye and heart dissection.
Forensics
How to Solve a Mystery: Help solve a crime using the latest in CSI techniques.
Introduction to Robotics: Grades 2 and up
During the introductory session, children become familiar with basic
robot design, construction and programming. They build their first
robots, and learn the programming language to make them work. They
complete several fun challenges along the way.
Separate Fee: $75.00
Pre-K/ K -2 Workshops: 9:00 - 12:00: Children explore animals and
plants through a variety of hands-on activities.
Elementary School Workshops - Grades 2-5: 9:00 - 12:00
ShoeBox Habitat: Join us as we create an animal habitat and learn
about animals in the process.
Physics with K'Nex: Newton's Laws come alive through explorations with K'Nex.
Lunch is included
Cost $25.00 (Several Scholarships are available)
