The Candidates' Statements for the School Governance Council (SGC) 
and for the Berkeley Schools Excellence Project (BSEP) Committee are 
now available on-line on the PTSA website

I've also attached the statements as a Word document to this posting 
for those who prefer it in that format.

And Please Remember:

1) The deadline for submitting Candidates Statements has been 
extended until noon tomorrow (Wednesday).  Statements should be 
limited to 200 words or less and
submitted to PTSA president, Mark van Krieken at 
<>markvk4 at comcast.net.  Please remember to include what small school 
or program your child attends and what residential district you 
reside in (if you know it).

2) Parents and guardians can also nominate themselves at the PTSA 
meeting and run as write-in candidates.  A Candidates' Statement is 
not required to run, but it is needed if candidates want their names 
included on the printed ballots. 

3) The PTSA Meeting/Elections will be held on Tuesday, September 11th 
at 7 PM in the Little Theater.
