The Canon Jones Memorial Scholarship exists to carry on the legacy of 
Canon Jones' life work. Even as a young man, Canon touched so many 
lives through his commitment to serving others, being a peacemaker, a 
counselor, a friend, and a community activist. He worked to make a 
difference in his community. We want to encourage other young people 
with similar spirits, goals and aspirations by supporting their path 
through higher education.
