Coming off it's final race of the season with 5 first places and 8 
second places, BHS Crew is heading for the US Rowing Southwest 
Regional Championships. The Regional Championships take place May 19 
and 20 at Lake Natoma outside Sacramento where BHS will compete with 
28 other teams with 500 entries and around 1500 high school students 
from as far away as Arizona.

BHS will have boats racing in 24 different categories including 
Varsity, JV, Lightweight, Novice and Freshman boats. The men's and 
women's Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+, Lightweight 8+ and Lightweight 4+ all 
have the opportunity to qualify for the US Rowing National Youth 
Championship this weekend by placing in the top three in their 
category.
