Senior/Junior Section
1. May 1 Deadline - May 1 is the deadline to send in your Statement of
Intent to Register (SIR) to most colleges and universities. For most
schools, if you do not send in your SIR and your deposit (if required)
by May 1, you will not be able to attend that school in the fall. You
may only send in a SIR to one school. It is unethical to tell more
than one school that you plan to attend their college in the fall. If
you have questions at all, please stop by to see Ms. Abrams or Mr.
Saraceno at lunch or after school.
2. The following Cal State campuses are still accepting applications:
Cal Maritime, Bakersfield, Chico, Dominguez Hills, East Bay, Fullerton

financial aid, the UC, CAL State and community college systems,
recruited athletes and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
St. Mary's College in association with the BHS Academic Choice program
is sponsoring the cost of buses that will go directly from BHS to the
College Fair in Moraga. Buses will leave BHS Saturday afternoon
(April 28th) at 12:30 PM and return around 4:00 PM, which will allow
students to visit the college booths and enjoy St. Mary's beautiful
campus. Interested students should buy tickets for the bus to St.
