Attention CSF Participants:
Applications and community service logs for the Spring 2007 semester
are now available in the Student Learning Center (D-221).
Completed applications, a copy of a transcript or report card from
last semester (Fall 2006), and $1 membership fee (cash only) are due
on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 in the SLC.

due Wednesay, June 6, 2007.
CSF (the California Scholarship Federation) is an honor society
designed to promote and recognize high standards of scholarship,
service and citizenship on the part of students in California
schools. Students in 10th-12th grade who achieve a certain level of
academic success (see application for full details) and who complete
3 hours of community service and $15 of fundraising per semester
qualify for membership.
Berkeley High provides college scholarships to some CSF members in
their senior year; members must apply for the scholarship,
demonstrate financial need, and have achieved CSF Sealbearer Status
(completed 4 semesters of CSF membership, including 1 semester in
senior year).
Sealbearers are also eligible to apply for the larger Charles and
Marian Seymour Memorial Award, funded by CSF.
All sealbearers receive a seal on their diploma and wear a special
sash at graduation.
