MAS (MENTORING FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS) begins next Monday, October 2nd
in the College/Career Center.  MAS is a program of the Multicultural
Institute that provides after-school tutoring for registered students
in the after-school study center on Mondays and Wednesdays from
3:15-5:15 p.m.  

MAS concentrates on at-risk students in West and South Berkeley, but
tutoring is open to all students.  Tutors include community
volunteers, Cal and GTU students, and former program participants.  

To register your student, please contact Raina, Amy or Lisa.
Students may also drop in for MAS tutoring on an as-needed basis.
