Students from the classes of 2007 and 2008 - 
Colleges That Change Lives
College Fair, August 7 and August 8.   

Colleges That Change Lives are 40 small liberal arts colleges which
were evaluated in a book by the same name, authored by Loren Pope.
These schools are noted for their small classes, close relationships
with professors, and the teaching methods that allow students to grow
and deeply explore their talents and values. 

This is a great opportunity to hear a panel of representatives from
some of the schools and then speak with them individually and pick up
materials about each school. 

The fair is offered twice as follows:

Monday, August 7, 7:00-9:00 pm, South San Francisco Conference
Center.

Both events are free and pre-registration is NOT required.  I
recommend arriving early as the events are often crowded.

Admissions, College Essays By Berkeley High Students, a collection of
over 55 excellent essays including several complete sets of UC
essays, will be on sale at BHS in the Conference Room located in the
Administration building, on July 25th and 26th between 9am and 4pm.
The cost of the book is $10 and all proceeds go to the BHS College
and Career Center.
