Two Berkeley High School Crew team boats qualified for the US Rowing
National Youth Championships which concluded Sunday June 11, 2006

The Men's Varsity Lightweight 4+ team came in third in Saturday's
semi-final race. The top three boats moved on to Sunday's final where
BHS sprinted to a FIRST place finish making them the National
Champions in this category. Congratulations to seniors Daniel
Krasnor, Alex Mog, Junior Cole Pedicone and Sophomores Ian Horton and
Patrick Stolcke on being National Champions.

The Women's Varsity 4+ team placed fourth in Saturday's semi-final
race. While they did not qualify for the finals, they did race in
Sunday's petite final. They also came in first place!

Berkeley High is the only public high school from the Bay Area to
have qualified and won.
