IT'S TIME TO PARTY!!

Academic Choice will be hosting their first annual fundraiser, "Food
for Thought" next weekend! This dinner dance will be held at the
Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda (near Solano Avenue) the
evening of Saturday, May 6th, from 6:30 to 10:30 pm.  The dinner will
feature a sampling of food from restaurants all over Berkeley and the
East Bay, and live music will be provided by BHS student talent.
Dinner will be followed by a small silent auction, and then
dancing--oldies but goodies that will get your feet moving.

So please join us this Saturday, May 6th for celebration of all
things Berkeley!

Not only will you be able to sample the menus of some of Berkeley's
finest restaurants, sip a little wine, and dance with your soul-mate,
but we will have a no pressure silent auction for you to come away
with a bargain on anything from stellar A's tickets on the first base
line to massage therapy to gift certificates from restaurants like
Bay Wolf and Chez Pannisse. Friends, parents, and local businesses
are donating original art, jewelry, and services for you to bid on.
Want a bargain?  Get your tickets and come to this  event!  Invite
your friends and loved ones to contribute to a great cause and have a
little fun doing it.

Tickets are $30, and we hope to not only raise some money but also
have a really good time, dancing and eating and drinking and talking
with new friends and old. All interested parents and guardians of
past, present and future BHS and AC students are invited!!!
