College Visits
Tuesday, April 25
2:30	Hobart and William Smith, New York

MAY 1 DEADLINE - May 1 is the deadline to send in your Statement of
Intent to Register (SIR) to most colleges and universities. For most
schools, if you do not send in your SIR and your deposit (if
required) by May 1, you will not be able to attend that school in the
fall. You may only send in a SIR to one school. It is unethical to
tell more than one school that you plan to attend their college in
the fall. If you have any questions at all, please stop by to see me
at lunch or after school.

UC Merced is still accepting applications for all majors for fall
2006. To apply, you must download a paper application at
http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/
download.html This is a great opportunity to attend a UC campus if
you are UC eligible. Because this is a new school, classes are small
and you will have the opportunity to start new traditions, set up
clubs, and attend classes and live in all new buildings. UC Merced
is also a very diverse campus.

SCHOLARSHIPS - There are many scholarships available in the College
Center and few of you are applying. Please come by to check these
out and apply for FREE MONEY!!! A complete list of all of the
scholarship applications we have available can be found in the
College Center or at
www.bhs.berkeley.k12.ca.us/services/collegecenter.html, then click on
"scholarships" from the drop down box.
