$5 Parking Available in BHS Staff Parking Lot on Friday, March 31

The BHS Chess Club will be staffing the staff parking lot on Friday
evening, so if anyone is going out in downtown Berkeley that night,
please know that you can park all evening in that lot for $5.  What a
deal!  Proceeds from parking will go towards sending six BH students
to Milwaukee next month to represent their school at the National
Chess Tournament.

Chess Fundraising Event, 10-2, Sunday, 4/2 on Fourth Street, Berkeley

If you are looking for something unusual/fun to do on Sunday, please
stop by Fourth Street.  The BHS Chess Team will be hosting an event
in front of Peets coffee.  There will be exhibition chess, baked
goods for sale, the chance to hear some cool music and an opportunity
to play chess against any one of the six BHS kids who will go to
Milwaukee next month for the Nationals.  Great chess for a dollar -
what could be better than that?!   (Rain will, of course, cancel this
event).
