SAT WORD OF THE DAY: LEVITY – lightness of disposition; lack of
seriousness. Kent brought an air of levity to the otherwise somber
proceedings by cracking a few jokes.
Volunteers are still needed for the Berkeley High Career Fair,
Thursday, March 9, for the following shifts:
9:30-noon – 2 more volunteers needed
12-2 – 2 more volunteers needed
2-4 – 3 more volunteers needed
4-6 – 2 more volunteers needed
Last year hundreds of students attended the fair to get information on
careers, jobs, training and hear how to write resumes, prepare for job
interviews and “dress for success.” We’ve expanded this year’s fair to
include presentations in the theater. It’s parents like you who help
make the fair a success. Please e-mail me if you are available.
