CONSIDERING PROGRAM CHOICES FOR BERKELEY SCHOOLS' FUTURE 
THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 2006 
Berkeley High School Library 
(enter on Allston Way, near Milvia Street)

Registration is at 6:30 PM 
The program begins promptly at 7:00 PM

The current special local parcel taxes which help fund educational
program - Berkeley Schools Excellence Project (BSEP) Measure and
Measure B (the Bridge Measure) - will end in fall 2006. Together the
two measures bring $19 million to the school district and pay for 30%
of our classroom teachers. The Board of Education are hosting this
event as they would like input on establishing educational priorities
as they consider placing a measure on the November 2006 that would
extend the tax and redefine what it pays for.
