The New Families Reception & Dessert Potluck will be held this
Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in the BHS LIbrary and Food Court. The
event is for families of freshmen and transfer students and is
intended to give those attending general information about BHS and
some of its organizations as well as an opportunity to meet other new
families.

>From 7 to 8 pm we will meet in the BHS Library on the second floor of
the D building. Members of the administration who work closely with
the 9th grade will speak and answer questions. Representatives from
BHS organizations and programs will also make short presentations.
>From 8 to 8:45 p.m. we will move to the Food Court on the first floor
where refreshments will be served. People will have an opportunity to
socialize and browse information tables. While the program portion is
geared more toward parents than students, quite a few students
usually attend and find it a convenient opportunity to meet with
their friends and discuss orientation, their schedules, etc.

If you have time to make or pick up a dessert or snack to share, it
would be appreciated. Donated refreshments don't need to be left
ahead of time, just bring them to the meeting. PTSA will provide
beverages, paper goods and utensils.

To reach the library, enter the new adminstration building (the D
building) at the front door on Allston at Milvia. Go straight back
the main hallway then take the stairs to the second floor. Parking is
available on the old tennis court sites, across Milvia from the old
gymnasium. There are two lots, one is entered on Bancroft, the other
on Durant.
