[BHS etree] EVENTS: Spring performances have begun

ETREE: Every winter and spring Berkeley High students mount a number of
performances.  They are all entertaining, worth attending, and come highly
recommended by the etree.  Below are this week's performances:

Please note that an excellent source for information about Berkeley High and

1. Afro Haitian Dance, Thursday, May 12, 7:30 p.m., Community Theater: an
exhilarating, drum thumping experience. Not to be missed.

2. A Chorus Line, Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, 8 p.m. Little Theater:
Final weekend performances of this year's outstanding student-directed
spring musical.

3. In addition to the two above school site performances, the Jazz Ensemble
and Combos will be performing at Yoshi's this Wednesday, May 11.  Tickets
for the two shows, at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. are $10 and can be purchased from
Yoshi's in Jack London Square.
