Please join Alice Medrich for an evening of chocolate and support the BHS
Development Group
Alice Medrich, author of the International Association of Culinary
Professionals cookbook of the year, Bittersweet: Recipe and Tales from a
Life in Chocolate,  and founder of the former Cocolat stores in the Bay
Area – and Berkeley High Parent, will conduct a chocolate tasting and
demonstrate and serve some of her favorite chocolate desserts including
Scharffen Berger Chocolate Souffles and Bittersweet Chocolate Truffles and
more as a fundraiser for the BHS Development Group (BHSDG). This should be a
great, fun and tasty evening and help the BHSDG which is the main
fundraising organization for the high school and supports teachers, students
and programs throughout the school.

All the recipes used in the demonstration will be distributed to the
attendees including the recipe for the great chocolate soufflé Alice will be
making.

Date: April 27th

Time: 7:00

Location: Sur La Table at 1806 Fourth Street.
