Last Chance to Become A Writing Coach this Spring!

WriterCoach Connection still has spaces available in
our last training session of the school year.
Register today to enjoy the satisfaction of being an
academic mentor at Berkeley High or Berkeley
Alternative High.

WCC pairs trained volunteers with students to help
them master the writing and critical thinking skills
needed to complete assignments and succeed.  Coaches
commit to a regular, 1 or 2-hour/week assignment and
meet during the school day to work one-on-one with
students in their English classes.

Learn the step-by-step methods to coach
students--including your ownat our training:

Session C:   Tuesdays      Mar 8 & 15      6:30-9:30
PM

Help kids develop an important skill they will use
throughout their lives.  For a small investment of
time, writing coaches support kids and teachers and
stay in touch with what is going on at school.
