This week parents have started conducting short tours of Berkeley High.
These tours are for adults. If a parent wants to take his or her child out
of school to go on the tour the parent may. But all students who go on the
tours MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students will have ample
opportunity to tour campus during orientation in August when freshmen will
be taken on school tours by upperclassmen.

The tours will depart from the front desk of the ADMIN building (corner of
Allston Way and Milvia) at 10 a.m. Please come shortly before in order to
sign in and get a visitor's pass. Each tour will be limited to six persons
and will include buildings but not classrooms. To sign up, please contact
me at jhuseby at pacbell.net. Please indicate
which date and the number of persons in the party. I may also be reached by
phone--though not as efficiently--at 527-1130.
