[BHS etree] SUPT: BUSD Board Updates of interest to BHS January 19

At the Board meeting on January 19, 2005 the Board discussed the following
items of interest to BHS:

1. BHS: School of Social Justice and Ecology
The Board received a presentation on the proposed
new Berkeley High School small school, the School of
Social Justice and Ecology. The Board took their
option to take action on a conference item and voted
to approve the Request for Authorization for a new
small school at BHS.

2. The Board is seeking applications for vacancies in these areas:
-Facilities Safety & Maintenance Oversight   Committee (FSMOC)
-School Construction Oversight Committee (SCOC)
