STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN

Administration

1.    The Berkeley High School Site Council will meet on Tuesday, December
14, 2004 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the school library.  On the agenda
are athletic eligibility requirements (continuation from last meeting),
report of the Positive Minds program, and data on student achievement.  All
representatives and alternates should attend, and anyone interested is

2.    The College/Career Center will be closed on Wednesday, December 15
from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.  Proctors should go to the Library.

Clubs
1.    Hey students: don't forget the BSU is hosting our first annual College
Day Blowout TODAY from 9:30-11:30 am-- so be there.  You can pick up
permission slips from H214.

2.    Quiz Bowl meeting and practice this Wednesday at lunch in  C316.  Hope
to see you there!

3.    Are you an aspiring Table Tennis player looking for competition?  Are
you a casual Ping Pong player looking to have some fun?  Come to the BHS
Table Tennis club today at lunch on the upper floor of the old gym.  Any one
interested is encouraged to attend.

4.    Are you fat?  Are you skinny? Are you gangly? Are you stumpy? Are you
scary?  Come play WOMEN'S RUGBY!  Informational meeting Tuesday, December
14 at lunch in G210.  No experience necessary!

5.    CAS Presents: Berkeley High Poetry Slam on Wednesday, December 15th.
Slam begins at 7:00 p.m. in G210.  $1 donation at the door will cover.  Sign
up to read at 6:30 p.m.  Have two poems ready in case you make Round Two.

6.    Are you interested in making your own needles?  Come to the Knitting
and Needlework Club on Tuesday, December 14.  Note:  this is a Tuesday and
is not our usual Monday meeting day.  See you then!

Sports
1.    Congratulations to the boys and girls basketball programs for their
participation in the tournament last week.  Girls JV and Boys Varsity were
undefeated!  Both teams were the champions for the tournament.

2.    All Boys LaCrosse Players interested in playing this Spring should
come to an informational meeting in the Old Gym M202 at 3:30 p.m. on
Thursday, 12/16.

Senior Section 
                   
  
Events/ Performance
1.    The BHS Choir is having their annual winter concert on Wednesday,
December 15 at 7:30 p.m.  Please join them in the Little Theater to hear
holiday music and more! There is no admission price and refreshments will be
available after the performance.

2.    The Jazz Lab Band concert next Friday, December 17th at 7:30 pm.

Sales
1.    Yearbooks are on sale for $60.00.  Go to H102 before school or at
lunch.
