[BHS etree] JAZZ: Music lovers, Lab Band parents

With the huge interest and enrollment in Berkeley High's Jazz Lab Band this
year, parents are gearing up to support the band -- and enjoy some terrific
music in the process. Here's how the BHS community can help:

- Mark your calendars for Friday, Dec. 17, and don't miss the Lab Band
concert that evening -- with food and music, it will be a great night. More
details later.

- Are you a guitarist with some extra time? Mr. Hamilton could use the help
of a parent volunteer to work in class with the guitar players. Contact
Lorraine Mahley via email at wilder1013 at aol.com to volunteer.

- Lab Band parents: Be sure you are on the band's mailing list -- send your
name, your student's name and instrument, address, and phone number to
Lorraine Mahley, wilder1013 at aol.com.
