[BHS etree] ADMIN: Volunteers to help with Exit Exam 11/16, 11/17

On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 16 and 17,  Berkeley High will be
offering a makeup California High School Exit Exam for juniors who need to
take it. In order to graduate from high school in California, students
(starting with the class of 2006) are now required to take this exam. Most
students do so at the end of their sophomore year.

Vice Principal Rory Bled expects 250 students to take the exam this month.
She is looking for volunteers who can help check in students and monitor the
test. She would like up to 15 volunteers at all times from 7:30 am to noon
on both days. If you can volunteer for all or part of one of the morning,
please contact Janet Huseby at jhuseby at pacbell.net. and let her know when
