STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN
October 27, 2004

Administration

1.    If you already took an ID picture and lost it, it can be replaced.
Please submit your name to Belinda McDaniel in the morning and pick it up
by lunch. ID's cost $5 to be replaced.

2.    Bart tickets are here.  Bart tickets orders will be taken on October
28th and 29th in room D148 at lunchtime only.

3.    Student tutors in AP and Honors classes: want to learn how to be a
better peer math tutor?  Come to a tutoring tips workshop at lunch and
after school in H217, and get community service credit for coming!

4.    All Student Council Members: please come to a mandatory meeting at
lunch in G210 this Thursday, October 28th.  We will discuss and formulate
plans for each committee.

5.    If you have not yet held student Council elections in your second
period class, please do so as soon as possible and submit the two
representatives' names and emails to Mrs. McKnight-Johnson.

Clubs 
1.    Earphone English: Come at lunch on Friday for a special "holiday"
meeting.

Sports
1.    First day of Basketball, Soccer, and Wrestling tryouts is Monday,
November 8.  If you haven't had a physical in the last year, you must
schedule now.  Completed physicals and athletic packets are required in
order to tryout.  Pick up packets in the front office or in the athletic
office.

2.    Girls Soccer tryouts will begin on the BHS turf Monday, Nov. 8 from
6:30-8:30pm.  Bring your completed athletic packets with you in order to
tryout.

Events/ Performance
1.    Visual and Performance Arts College Fair- Sunday, October 31,
1:00-3:00 pm, South San Francisco Conference Center, 255 South Airport Blvd.

3.    Diante Galloway is looking for dancers and back up singers for a song
he is writing.  Anyone interested should come tryout beginning November
1st at lunch in the dance studio. (Jacket Gum 200)
Sales
1.    Make sure you buy a yearbook.  The price is still $60.  They will go
up soon.

2.    Bake sale on the "Senior" steps on Friday.  Come support the
Progressive Club so we can go Sacramento.  See ya there.

3.    BHS Wearables will be sold at lunchtime and after school on Friday,
October 28th in the courtyard.  T-shirts - $15, Hoodie sweatshirts -$30,
Plaid PJ bottoms - $20, and knit hats - $10, Black fleece jackets - $60, and
glass wipes - $5.  Come support our school!
