Join school officials, students, staff, community members, neighbors and
designers on Thursday, October 21st, at 7 p.m. for the second public
workshop for the South Campus Construction Plan at Berkeley High School.

The Berkeley High School Master Plan Public Workshops have been renamed the
‘BHS South Campus Construction Plan’ to avoid any confusion with the BHS
Master Schedule. This meeting is the first of a series of public meetings in
addition to the site construction committee meetings already taking place.

We had 44 people attend the first meeting on October 7th, and are off to a
great start. however we want to insure that any and all stakeholders have
the opportunity to have their voices involved in the process, especially
these preliminary discussions. Please pass this information on to others who
might want to take part.

The rest of the scheduled meetings are:

1. Site Construction Committee Meetings:
November 11, December 9, (to be determined), January 13, and February 10

Note: The Site Committee is a smaller group comprised of representatives
from all of the stakeholder groups listed above. The committee has already
had their first meetings. If you are interested in representing your
stakeholder group in this part of the process, contact BHS principal Jim
