CSU SAT CODE ­ If you are applying to any Cal State campuses, there is no
need to send your SAT scores to each one.  Instead, use the code 3594
(CSUMentor) and your scores will go to all of the CSU campuses.

CSF ­ October 18 ­ Information meeting at lunchtime in the College/Career
Center for new members.  Sign-up forms will be available on October 12th in
D221.   

ESSAY READERS ­ Essay readers will be here every day this week at 8:00 a.m.,
lunch and after school.  Stop by D-221 for the complete schedule.

UC PREVIEW DAYS, October 16 ­ UC Davis, Irvine and Santa Cruz will all be
holding preview days on October 16 including academic and student life
fairs, workshop and campus tours.  Check their websites for more
information.  

SENIOR PARENT COLLEGE NIGHT ­ Hear information directly from representatives
of the UC¹s, California State Universities and private colleges, hosted by
Ilene Abrams.  Wednesday, October 20, 6:30-8:30.  Berkeley High Library.

SAT/ACT TEST DATES: - Friday, October 29 is the regular registration
deadline for the December 4 SAT I and II tests.  Friday, November 5 is the
regular registration deadline for the
December 11 ACT test.  These are the last recommended tests for the UC¹s and
Cal States.

WRITING COMPETITION ­ Bennington College Young Writers Awards for fiction,
poetry and plays.  Entry forms available in the College Center or at
www.bennington.edu under News & Events.  Deadline:  December 1.

SCHOLARSHIPS
