STUDENT DAILY BULLETIN
October 8, 2004

Administration
1.  Did you neglect to sign up for the PSAT? You have ONE MORE CHANCE. 
Bring your $22 cash on Friday, October 8 during lunch to the D Building 
ticket windows on Allston Way.  Not only do you get a complete practice 
test when you sign up, but when your test is scored you get back your 
test booklet, a list of the answers you marked and the correct answers. 
  It’s a great practice for the SAT’s you will take later.

2.  Looking for breakfast in the morning? Forgot to grab a bite before 
you made it to school?  Then stop by Good Morning Café in H106.  
Various pastries, teas, and coffee being served each day.  Cost from 
.50 to $1.00.

3.  The Vista Global Studies Election Forum will be held from 12:30 – 
5:30 pm on Saturday, October 9th at the Vista Annex (located at 2075 
Allston Way). There will be speakers and information about the 
presidential elections  and local propositions as well as a movie about 
the previous presidential election.  Free food will be provided.

Clubs
1.  Holiday Meal and Canned Food Drive meeting Friday, October 8, 2004 
in C400.  Entire Student Government must attend!

2.  Earphone English – first half of lunch on Friday in C116.

Sports
1.  Mixed JV Football : BHS vs. Richmond   here from 4:30 – 6:30 pm
2.  Varsity Football: BHS vs. Richmond here  7:00 -9:00 pm

Senior Section

1. Seniors!   The senior formals have a new deadline: October 14th ….to 
be in the yearbook. You can Schedule appointments on October, 12, 13, 
and 14th from 2:30 – 7:00 pm.  Contact ABC Harrell for more details

2.  Seniors interested in earning $80.00?  What about the upcoming 
Presidential Election.  If so, please come to C406 and sign up to be a 
poll worker in your voting precinct.  See Mrs. McKnight-Johnson right 
away.

Events/ Performance
1. Homecoming is coming: October 22, 2004!  Wear Red and Gold and show 
your school spirit, safely.  Remember, in order to attend or 
participate in the rally or to enter the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, 
October 23rd, you must have an Activities Contract signed by you and 
your parents on file with Ms. McKnight-Johnson.

Wednesday: Wacky Tacky Day
Thursday: 80’s Day: Seniors / Uniform day: underclassmen

Sales
1.  Come buy your yearbook every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in H102 
or everyday between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. in H102.  This is the final week 
for $50 books.  Next week they will be $60, so buy your yearbook now!

2.  Hey BHS students.  The Building with Books Club is having a bake 
sale on Friday at lunch.  Come to the Community Theater steps.  Come 
buy delicious baked foods and support the club.
