ESSAY READERS – Essay readers will be here today (Friday) at lunch and 
after school.  Starting next week, there will be readers here every day 
at 8:00 a.m., lunch and after school except for some Monday mornings.  
Stop by D-221 for the complete schedule.

UC PREVIEW DAYS, October 16 – UC Davis, Irvine and Santa Cruz will all 
be holding preview days on October 16 including academic and student 
life fairs, workshop and campus tours.  Check their websites for more 
information.

SENIOR PARENT COLLEGE NIGHT – Hear information directly from 
representatives of the UC’s, California State Universities and private 
colleges, hosted by Ilene Abrams.  Wednesday, October 20, 6:30-8:30.

SAT/ACT TEST DATES: - Wednesday, October 13 is the late registration 
deadline for the November 6 SAT I and II tests.  Friday, November 5 is 
the regular registration deadline for the
December 11 ACT test.

ESSAY READERS will be available in the College/Career Center on Monday, 
Wednesday and Friday at lunchtime.  Start your essay early and get 
feedback from experienced readers.

UC/CSU Application Workshops: All workshops will be in the library 
computer lab. You must sign up in advance in D221 as there are a 
limited number of computers available.  The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, October 27, 7:30 a.m.

To attend the workshops, you must have a Berkeley High user name and 
password. If you have not signed into the BHS computer system this year 
with your user name and password, come to D221 for more information at 
least two days before the workshop.
