[BHS etree] PTSA: meeting tomorrow night

The first general PTSA meeting of the year will be held this Thursday, Sep.
9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in BHS's Little Theater on Allston Way.

Principal Slemp will be present to tell us what's up at Berkeley High this
fall.

Parent representatives to two importatnt BHS committees will be elected.
Names of those candidates who have declared themselves in advance will be
posted on the etree in a separate messege.

A resolution endorsing Measure B (the so-called "bridge" measure, a 2-year
parcel tax for schools to supplement BSEP) will be put to a vote of the
membership. A representative of the official committee to pass Measure B
will speak briefly on the measure. If someone would like to give a brief
argument against passage of Measure B, please notify the contact person
above.

Before/after this meeting you may: pay your PTSA membership dues, buy BHS
wearables or PE uniforms from the Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) table, make a
contribution to the Measure B campain.
