The Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) is a group of
parents of current and past student athletes.  We
have been raising funds for BHS athletics since
1985. We are increasing our fund raising activities
and we are looking for more parents to join our
effort...and have a good time while helping our
athletes!

The school year is drawing to a close, but now is
the time to sign up for next year, and then you can
forget about it for the summer!  Where can you
help that best meets your time and talents????

The following BAF Committees are looking for

1. Celebrity Waiter Luncheon
   Learn the ropes of this not to be missed luncheon,
   held in March.  Learn from the best.  We'll be
   planning for the 8th Annual Luncheon!

2. BAF Wearables and PE Uniforms
   Help with the ordering and selling of wearables
   and PE Uniforms.
   Help needed for selling of PE uniforms at
   Freshman orientation in late August.

3. Parking Lot - Friday and Saturday Nights
   This group is rolling, but we could use some
   help with publicity and keeping it mvoing along.

4. Fall Fund Raising Letter
   Help with the fund raising letter that goes out
   in the fall...from developing the letter to
   stuffing.

5. Game Concession Stand
   Right now this is hit and miss activity, and it
   could be a great revenue generator...we just need
   help getting it together for all of the games.

7. Solano Stroll
   Help staff the BAF booth at the Solano Stroll
   on September 12, 2004.

8. Alumni Committee
   Time to tap into the BHS Athlete  Alumni group.
   We need to develop a list and strategy for
   keeping them informed as to what we are  doing
   and how they can help, from talking to current
   student athletes to fund raising ideas.

9. New Fund Raising Activities
   Help us look into different ways to raise funds
   for BHS Athletics.
