[BHS etree] ACADEMIC CHOICE: Summer Reading List for Academic Choice AP Lit and Comp Students

Attention:  2004-5 Academic Choice Advanced Placement Literature and
Composition Students,

You will read the following literary works over the summer:

    The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner
    Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
    Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Try to obtain the Norton Critical Edition (Second Edition) copies of the
Faulkner and Dostoevsky texts.  There will be an examination on the contents
and themes of these works at the beginning of September.  Since The Sound
and the Fury is exceedingly difficult, you will need to print and read these

http://mrbye.com/PDF%20Files/Quention%20Notes.pdf)
to make Faulkner's masterpiece accessible.
    Ask Mr. Bye (C-205) and Mr. Powers (C-335) for details.
