Students  are invited to the Youth Together Summer Program!

1. What is the Youth Together Summer Program?   It is a fun interactive
program for entering and continuing High School students that teaches them
how to make positive change in their lives, school and community.  Students
will learn about different cultures, meet new people, learn about their
histories, develop leadership skills, express their views on peace and
justice, and attend educational field trips.  The program is FREE!

2. What do participants gain from the Youth Together Summer Program?
Leadership Skills *  Team  Building Skills * Deeper understanding of
different cultures * Fun educational field trips * Marine World Field Trip *
Community Celebration

3. Who gets to be in the Youth Together Summer Program? The program is
limited to graduating 8th graders or current high school students who attend
Skyline, Castlemont, Richmond, Kennedy, Berkeley and Fremont High Schools in
the fall.  High School students will plan summer program activities.
4.Youth Together Summer Program Specifics
Location:  University of California at Berkeley
When:  June 14th to July 3rd 2004    (Whole Program/ends week of the 3rd)
June 14th to June 18th          (one week session)
June 21st to July 3rd            (2 afternoon sessions  per week)

Time:  June 14th to June 18th (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
June 21st to July 3rd    (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM)
