$10 price increase for PHLO on 3/1/25

We’re writing with an update and some news about a cost increase 
for your PHLO Internet service. 

As we mentioned last year, the FCC’s forbearance decision, under 
pressure from AT&T and other incumbents, eliminated the obligation to 
provide copper lines to competing carriers such as LMi. With your help, 
we fought against this ruling for years, which gained us additional 
years of stability.

We’ve already seen the initial impact of this deregulation in April 2024 
with an initial copper loop price increase. And as predicted, we are now 
seeing additional increases.

After recent negotiations with AT&T, a further price increase for copper 
loops of $10/loop per month on PHLO DSL services will be required on 
March 1, 2025.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Many of you have been with us for 
years, and we remain committed to providing the best service possible 
under these circumstances.

As an aside, a number of you receiving this email may qualify for our 
fiber internet service, which is faster and less expensive. We highly 
encourage you to upgrade to this service if you can, so you can not only 
avoid these price increases but also have faster, more reliable internet 
service.
