Notice of price increase and the future of our PHLO+ service

We are writing to you today to inform you of an upcoming price increase to our PHLO+ phone/DSL service. AT&T is 
continuing to move toward the full decommission of the outside copper lines that our PHLO+ service uses to deliver the 
service to your home. As part of those efforts AT&T has received approval from the FCC to increase monthly fees 
effective June 10th. Unfortunately this means we will need to increase your monthly rate to match the new cost of the 
infrastructure and you will see an increase on your bill of $4.75 moving forward.

Furthermore on January 1st 2025 AT&T's requirement to allow us to use the outside copper lines will end. At that point 
AT&T may provide us notice of discontinuation, which would force us to end the service entirely, or, more likely, they 
will continue to allow the use of the lines but at a higher monthly cost. We will continue to update you as we hear more 
about this but we likely won't be given more than 30 days notice for any future rate increases.

In most areas our fiber optic service is now available and we highly encourage you to upgrade to this service if you can 
so you can not only avoid these price increases but also have faster, more reliable Internet service. In most cases our 
fiber service is less expensive than the PHLO+ service as well so you can also save on your monthly bill by upgrading. 
Additionally we offer the first three months of fiber service for free (not including taxes or equipment rental) for all 
new fiber users. You can check to see if fiber service is available at your location here:

We realize that some of you are using the PHLO+ service for voice only, fax, or perhaps an alarm system. We will 
continue to provide this service for as long as AT&T permits.

As AT&T continues to divert more resources from the outside copper infrastructure they have been slower to respond to 
support issues and we are seeing longer repair times as a result. We will however continue to support this service for 
as long as we are able to provide it and we will do anything we can to extend the lifespan of PHLO+ so it can continue 
to be available for you. Thank you for your membership and your understanding as we navigate through these changes.
