We have great news! LMi is proud to offer lightning fast fiber optic
Internet connections to your neighborhood and home, and we are providing
a free upgrade to this service!
As our fiber lines are installed in the coming months we will be
upgrading your service from the existing copper connections used in our
PHLO and PHLO+ services to our new fiber (https://www.lmi.net/phiber/)
service. This service will provide internet speeds from 20 to 100 times
faster than you’re currently receiving and bring the entirety of the
Internet to your fingertips. The exact timing of this service's
availability is dependent on your location. We will be in contact to
schedule an installation time with you.
Phiber pricing mirrors existing PHLO and PHLO+ pricing. Phiber service
will be $39.95 per month + taxes for the first year, then $49.95 + taxes
thereafter. When our technician sets up the service, we will upgrade
your existing network equipment to our Dual Band AC Router (available
for rental for $9.50 per month) to ensure you can fully utilize the
amazing speeds fiber provides.
Please note that this fiber service will not use copper lines, so your
phone service will be provided via VoIP rather than a POTS landline.
This change provides a more reliable connection for both Internet and
phone calls. You are also free to maintain both a fiber connection and a
separate phone line if you so desire. Feel free to contact us if you
have any questions or concerns about what may change for you.
If for some reason you choose to keep your existing connection rather
than upgrade to this new service, please go to
https://www.lmi.net/phiberoptout/ or reply to this email to opt out and
we will not make any changes to your service. Please note that due to a
recent change, our leasing fees for our copper lines are increasing. As
a result, any PHLO or PHLO+ customers who don't upgrade to Phiber will
see a price increase of $10 per month in the near future.
