Good Afternoon BHS Rising 11 and 12th Grade Families,

Berkeley High School has opened slots for the SAT Weekend test for next
school year. Not everyone chooses to take this test, but an increasing
number of colleges are requesting or requiring SAT scores for admissions.
Please review this document for more information about Standardized tests
for college admissions
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tJySOr-1NL2aA6uPye8h0ReOetg_W1DksrPi-TK2bw4/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.ahq9qmgi69h0>
, including information about how to register for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, how
to apply for accommodations and fee waivers and how to prepare for the
tests. I'm happy to report that this year we have worked with the College
Board to reserve 40% of our seats for BHS students until 6 weeks before
registration closes. Seats can still fill up quickly so we encourage you to
sign up now, and to take the first testing spot that will work for you. If
you can't find testing slots that work for you, or are having trouble
signing up please reach out to AnnieJae Fischburg at
anniejaefischburg at berkeley.net (Vice Principal) and Jenell Marshall
jenellmarshall at berkeley.net (SAT site Coordinator), if our test seats fill
we can often open more seats and will work to support you and your student
to find a slot that works for you.

Best,

AnnieJae Fischburg (She/Her)

Vice Principal

Berkeley High School
