Dear BUSD Families,

As the school year comes to a close and summer begins, we want to thank
everyone who supported the Berkeley High School Development Group this year.

Your generosity helps make all Berkeley High programs vibrant, supportive
places where students can learn, grow, and thrive. We are grateful to be
part of such an extraordinary community.

*As we look ahead to 2026–27, we have an important request.*

*The Berkeley High School Development Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that
helps fill critical funding gaps when school budgets fall short. This year,
Berkeley schools face approximately $7 million in budget cuts, putting
added pressure on programs and services students rely on.*

Thanks to community support, we've helped fund tutoring, field trips,
wellness and prevention programs, classroom enrichment, student activities,
and more. As these challenges grow, so does the need for support.

As we prepare for the coming year, every gift—of any size—helps ensure
Berkeley High students continue to have access to the opportunities and
resources they deserve.

All donations received before June 30 will help bridge the funding gap for
2026-2027 school year (see link below).

Together, we can make sure budget cuts do not define our students' futures.
