Dear Berkeley High School Families and Caregivers,
This following message is an update on course selection for the 2026–27
school year and clarifies the scheduling timeline for students in different
grade levels.
Rising 11th and 12th Grade Students (Current BHS 10th and 11th graders)
Students in the small learning communities (AHA, CAS, AMPS) and the large
learning communities (AC, BIHS) have now:
-
Received and reviewed their transcripts
-
Participated in a course scheduling presentation
-
Met with their counselor to select courses for next year
Students may make changes to their course requests through Friday, March
27th at 4PM.
-
Students in AC, AHA and BIHS may make changes by editing their course
selection Google Form or contacting their designated Infinite Campus
counselor.
-
Students in CAS and AMPS should contact their designated Infinite Campus
counselor directly to request changes.
After Friday, March 27th, schedule change requests will only be approved
for academic planning reasons, such as:
-
Completing a language placement exam and needing a different level
-
Completing a concurrent enrollment course and needing a different
elective
-
Transcript corrections or graduation requirement adjustments
Students who were absent for scheduling should contact their counselor to
submit their course selections by Friday, March 27th.
Rising 11th and 12th Grade students who have been assigned to a new
learning community for next year or who are in Home Base or have yet to
schedule will complete scheduling later in April after placements are
finalized.
Rising 10th Grade Students (Current BHS 9th graders)
Lottery results will be shared on or after Friday, March 27th.
Scheduling for Rising 10th grade students will take place after lottery
results are released on Thursday, April 9th and Friday, April 10th.
Rising 10th grade students will also have the opportunity to review and
adjust their course requests. They may make changes through Friday, April
17th.
There is no disadvantage for Rising 10th grade students in having a later
scheduling window in terms of access to courses. Their course requests will
be run at the same time as other students, which means that courses will
not be entirely filled by Rising 11th and 12th grade students before these
students are scheduled.

Final Reminder for Rising 11th and 12th Graders
Students in AHA, CAS, AMPS, AC, and BIHS who are rising 11th or 12th graders
MUST make any course selection changes by Friday, March 27th.
After that date, changes will only be made for transcript corrections or
academic planning needs.
Thank you for your support as we work through the scheduling process for
next year.
Sincerely,
The BHS Scheduling Team
