Crew is transitioning from a club sport in the fall to a BHS sport in
the spring. The deadline for joining is the 1st week in Feb due to the
learning curve and the start of racing season.

For all current crew club athletes: please check your physical in Home
Campus. Any physicals that expire before June will not make it through the
season; you will need a new physical.

If you are interested in learning more about the crew team, you can
visit current club land practices at the Athletic Plaza after school and
workout or speak with the coaches. The Boys team practices Tues & Fri and
Girls team Mon & Thurs

Q: I play a winter sport that still has practices and games during the
first week of tryouts. What should I do?
A: Contact the coach

of the SPRING team you wish to play for to arrange a make-up tryout. It is
not safe (or fair) for you to do two rigorous practices in one day. You are
entitled to a make-up tryout but you MUST communicate with the coach ahead
of time.
Q: I want to change the spring sports I’m registered for (either eliminate
sports or change to a different one); how do I do that?
A1 (preferred): Go into Home Campus and edit your clearance registration.
A2: Email athleticdirector at berkeley.net and tell us what you’d like changed
and we’ll take care of it.
Q: What do all the Home Campus codes mean (pending, incomplete, denied,
cleared)
A: We're going through rosters daily and checking physicals and grades. NOTE:
check spam/junk folders if you’ve received no recent notifications from
Home Campus
Pending = a completed registration we haven’t checked yet
Incomplete= an incomplete registration lacking uploads or signatures
Denied = Something is wrong (bad or missing physical; grades).
Cleared = Good to go for tryouts
Practice Only = you may practice/tryout but not compete. You are likely a
transfer student that needs to email athleticdirector at berkeley.net to get
on your NCS transfer paperwork, but it could be something else
Q: I don't remember seeing an email about my clearance status. How can I
check if I'm Incomplete, Pending (aka everything done and waiting for ADs
to check grades), Denied (aka something is wrong with my physical), or
Cleared?
A: Go to https://www.homecampus.com/login
1.
Log in using the email and password you set
2.
This will take you to the "My Student/Athlete Clearances" page.
Note: check your spam folder if you've never received an email from HOME
CAMPUS

duplicate registrations that can be deleted.
Q: I registered before I had my physical ready. I now have it. How do I
upload it?
A: To upload your physical, take a picture or scan of it and then,

schedule a new appt in the short time frame)
Q: My physical expires during the season but my insurance won't let me get
a new one until it's been a year since the last one

A: You cannot practice/participate. Most spring teams have competitive
