Dear Berkeley High School Families,

We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to announce that the
month of September brings our traditional Unity Week to Berkeley High
School, filled with themed dress-up days and organized activities by our
student leadership team. On Friday, September 26, 2025, we encourage all
students to join us for Red and Gold Day, where they can proudly wear our
school colors to show their school spirit. We also invite families to

While we want Unity Week to be a memorable and enjoyable experience for
all, it is important to address a concern from past years. Some students
have engaged in unsafe behavior during Red and Gold Day, including bringing
objects to throw at their peers, and engaging in verbal attacks at each
other. This behavior not only jeopardizes the safety of our students but
also goes against the values of unity and respect that we hold dear. Any
inappropriate behaviors will receive consequences.

We kindly request your support in reinforcing the importance of responsible
and safe behavior with your child. Please have a conversation with your
student(s) about making positive choices and treating all of their fellow
students with respect during Unity Week and beyond. .

Homecoming Dance - Saturday, September 27, 2025

Additionally, we want to remind you that on 9.27.25, we have our
Homecoming events.
The Homecoming Game will take place in the afternoon, followed by the
Homecoming Dance that will take place from 7 pm until 10 pm in the Donahue
Gym. It is essential to note that any student who violates our school's
behavior expectations and/or receives a suspension leading up to these
events will not be permitted to attend the game or the dance for Homecoming.

Homecoming tickets:  Once Upon a Time tickets on sale

have a school ID or other ID to enter the dance.  Tickets are non
transferable and cannot be traded, or sold to other students.  There are no
refunds for tickets purchased.  If you have any issues making a purchase,

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that Unity Week and Homecoming
are safe and enjoyable experiences for all Berkeley High School students.
